Dr. Tajjeeddine Rachidi is a  Professor of Computer Science at AlakhawaynUniversity in Ifrane, Morocco. After successfully passing les concours des Grandes Ecoles, he received his first degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble (ENSIMAG), France in 1989 specializing in real-time and computer systems. He then went on to earn a Ph.D. from Essex University, U.K in 1995 specializing in Machine Vision. Dr Rachidi worked and consulted for the private sector.  He co-authored  numerous peer reviewed papers and three  international patents in Telecommunications.  He served as  general chair of the International Conference on Cryptology Africacrypt series 2012, 2016, 2018 and 2019.  Pr Rachidi also served as IT director 2004-2007 and Associate VP for IT and Research 2009-2012 at Al Akhawayn University.
