He has over 16 years of academic and industry experience in various reputed organizations in India. He completed 05 Industrial Consultancies and 40 Workshops, Seminars and Faculty Development Programmes. He organized 10 National/International Conferences and published 200 papers in National & International Journals and Conferences. He provides research support as reviewer and editorial member to Springer, Elsevier, and Inderscience Journals. He setup Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) under Ministry of Human Resource Development and Department of Science & Technology (NSTEDB), Research Centre for Visvesvaraya Ph.D Scheme for Electronics and IT under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), NARL Research Centre under Department of Space and Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs through Incubators under Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. He was Management Committee Member of Computer Society of India Chennai Chapter for 3 years (April 2011 – March 2014), Secretary of Computer Society of India Chennai Chapter for 2 Years (April 2014 – March 2016) and State Student Coordinator of Computer Society of India for one Year (April 2017 – March 2018). He is the recipient of Outstanding Achievements Award, instituted by Marquis Who’s Who in the World® 2015 32nd Edition in recognition of outstanding service to the field of Computer Engineering, ADINA Young Scientist Awards 2016, Instituted by ADINA Group of Institutions, Sagar, M.P, Young IT Professionals Awards (YITP 2016), instituted by Computer Society of India (CSI) Runner of Region VII, Outstanding Scientist Award for Initiatives, Discoveries, and Developments in the discipline of Artificial Intelligence, instituted by Venus International Foundation, Chennai, Vidyasagar Award – Keen Dedication & contribution in the field of Science & Technology, IEEE EDS Section, Kolkata and Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, instituted by Marquis Who’s Who in the World, 2017. He is also Recipient of Tamilnadu Young Scientist Fellowship Award from Tamilnadu State Council for Science & Technology (TNSCST). He has been in Administrative & Policy making Services as Director Incubation and Innovation Centre, Nodal Officer, Member Board of Studies and Research. He Guided 6 Ph.Ds,10 M.Phil Scholars, 20 PG projects, 30 UG Projects and guiding 8 Ph.Ds. Currently, he is Professor in School of Computing Science & Engineering, Director Innovation and Incubation Centre at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai (India). He received Rs. 8.90 Lakhs Grants from various funding agencies for organizing various Technical events like Conferences, FDPs, winter schools etc and received Rs. 1287.41 Lakhs grants from various government funding agencies like DST, MeitY, MSME, NIELIT, NIESBID. He is an active member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Computer Society of India (CSI), Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Association of Computer Electronics & Electrical & Engineers (ACEEE), International Association of Computer Science & Information Technology (IACSIT), Research GATE – Scientific Network, Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC), Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), International forum of Researchers Students and Academician (IFRSA) and Lion’s Club. He has excellent experience in Policy Planning in Education, Curriculum Development, Human Resource Management, Innovative Design of Motivational Techniques and Resource Management. He is an active player having a Liaison with various Institutions, R&D organizations and Industries, to promote various technical activities and an efficient Team Leader with outstanding organizational and excellent interpersonal skills to conduct any events such as seminars, symposiums, conferences, workshops, training programs, etc. His current R&D Activities is in the field of Image processing, artificial intelligence and Cyber Physical System. Cyber Physical System is one of the upcoming interdisciplinary research fields which will lead to the industry 4.0. But there are several hindrances and technological gap are left off in the literature to realize it. Some of the significant research advances made by him and its impact are as follows:
Recently, he gave a demonstration on “Growing hydroponics under the supervision of artificial intelligence” at Sri Vidyaneeketan College of Engg, Andhra Pradesh. This work will enable the farmers to grow plants without soil and with minimal effort to be put for the crops growth under adverse condition.
He has received the accolades from top companies like Cisco, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys and CitiBank for his work on Internet of Things to solve the problem of concurrent computation and communication – “IoT based Vision Intelligence for Reality Mining”.
Other than that his research work on computationally identifying the cause of the multiple diseases acting on the patient has been honored by Madhya Pradesh council of Science & Technology. This will solve the problem of differential diagnosis through the help of an autonomous system.
Other research activities on realization of first ever comprehensive model of Cyber Physical system and autonomous surveillance has been a major breakthrough in the field and has been appreciated by the top multinational companies like Unisys and other government institute like DST by availing the funds for the research.
