Dr. David Ferro graduated with a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Lowell in 1985, worked in educational video games while going to school, and after graduating worked in companies such as Lotus Development, McGraw-Hill Data Resources Incorporated (DRI), Unysis, and Iomega. He received his PhD from Virginia Tech in 2001 in Science and Technology Studies and was a professor in Computer Science at Weber State University (WSU) from 2001 to 2011. He became the Dean of the College of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology at WSU in 2011.
